Projects Are Your Work Experience
ATS systems for fresher roles treat academic and personal projects similarly to work experience. Every project bullet point should:
- Start with a strong action verb (Built, Developed, Designed, Implemented, Deployed)
- Include the technology stack used
- Show a measurable outcome
Skills Section — The Most Critical Part for Freshers
For ATS purposes, your Skills section is the most important part of your fresher resume. Recruiters search for specific skills, and if they are not listed explicitly, your resume will not surface.
